Since achieving my MChiro degree, I have been a resident chiropractor in London gaining experience at prestigious private clinics before commencing my practice with the London Healthcare Clinic.
My goal is to provide lasting pain relief for my patients so that they may be free to spend their time as they please. I genuinely enjoy providing care for patients from all walks of life, whether they are young or old, busy professionals or athletes.
Areas of Expertise
Due to injuries sustained during my sports career, I can immediately understand and sympathize with the frustrations that patients experience, both mental and physical. I believe that a personally tailored holistic approach to care includes chiropractic, nutritional advice, and rehabilitation. I understand the impact that treatment can have on somebody’s daily life and it is my life’s goal to help others be as active as they want.
I am currently undertaking postgraduate courses in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS) to build on my understanding of natural human movement patterns. DNS is derived from studying developmental kinesiology – how movement patterns begin.
DNS therapy aims to assess and correct the functional stabilization of the spine and extremities. Functional stabilization is necessary and precedes safe purposeful movement.
I use an analytical approach drawn from the latest developments in medical science, dealing with your discomfort and focused on discovering and treating the key underlying factors contributing to pain, quickly.
Some of my preferred techniques are specific joint manipulation, DNS, acupuncture, kinesiology taping, and rehabilitation exercises combined with massage and stretching.
My treatment is always tailored to your lifestyle and body type, and I offer preventative treatments as well as post-injury rehabilitation.
Growing up in South Africa, I was constantly exposed to sports which cultivated my interest in the human body and movement. Following the completion of my Mathematics degree, I de
cided to pursue my true passion for physical therapy and chiropractic. In my free time, I enjoys trying out new recipes in the kitchen, training in martial arts and playing football. I love dogs and the odd windsurf when I’m able to find some sun!
